South Norfolk is a local government district in Norfolk, England. Its board is based in Long Stratton. The population of the local government district is 124,012, according to the 2011 census.
The county was created on April 1, 1974, by the Local Government Act 1972, by the amalgamation of Diss Urban County, Wymondham Urban County, Depwade Rural County, Forehoe and Henstead counties and rural Loddon county.
The county is purely parish and includes 119 civil parishes. At the time of the 2001 census, the district had an area of ??909 km, with a population of 110,710 people in 46,607 households.
