Role: Assistant Residential Worker

Salary: Up to £22,600 depending on experience and qualifications plus each sleep-in paid at £50

Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full-Time, 37 hours per week – shifts on a rota basis including weekend working with your rota shared a month in advance

Location: Mold, Flintshire

About the Role: 

If you enjoy engaging with young people and seeing them make progress then come and join our fantastic team.  The post involves working shifts on a rota basis including weekend working and sleep in duties.  Your tasks will include supporting our young people to take part in fun activities such as beach walks or visits to the zoo as well as learn new skills and work towards independence. Young people accessing the service have disabilities; autism or additional learning needs whilst others present with behaviour that can be a challenge and some will need help with personal care or communication.

As an Assistant Residential Worker, you'll be: 

  • Providing a safe and happy environment for children to develop
  • Working towards giving young people a positive future
  • Helping the children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives
  • Keeping accurate records and plans per child
  • Developing the health and happiness of those in your care

Academic Qualification:
Social Work
