Location: Hybrid – Home, School or Office | Salary: £52,440.00

 

Hours   37.5 hours

Contract   Permanent - full time (part-time or job share considered)

Salary   £52,440.00 rising to £57,753.00 with annual increments

Location  Hybrid worker - home, school or office based as necessary.  Together Trust Central office is based in Cheadle, Cheshire

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Services team?

We are in a significant period of growth for the Trust’s clinical services.  We work across the whole spectrum of education settings across the north west, alongside providing specialist input to Trust services more broadly, i.e. residential and community.

The new role of Educational Psychologist is key to the development our services offer, with real opportunity to creatively develop new service models, raise the profile of psychologist expertise and provide expert input via a Trust-wide multi-disciplinary approach.

The post-holder will provide consultation, guidance and support to school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team enabling them to promote the emotional well-being, learning and skill development of children and young people and support the implementation of Positive Behavioural Support across the Together Trust establishments.

The post holder will provide direct psychology support - working alongside our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Speech and Language, Occupational Therapists, Sleep Service Practitioners, Counsellors and Clinical Psychologists.

Do you have a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and training/ specialism in ASD, complex needs, attachment, and specific learning disability?  Are you registered with the HCPC?

We are looking for someone with experience working with staff teams and significant experience of undertaking cognitive and psychological assessments, developing formulations, and providing recommendations and support plans.

Academic Qualification:
Doctorate in Educational Psychology and training/ specialism in ASD, complex needs, attachment, and specific learning disability

Skills:
Communication skills, Expertise in the field.
