Established in 2004, our Battle fostering team provides specialist therapeutic training and support to foster carers in and around East Sussex, so they can make a long-lasting difference to the lives of young people in foster care.
Situated in an old country home within the beautifully kept grounds of Glengorse, the centre offers a serene space for regular training and support groups, 1:1 supervision, therapy, birth family contact, family events and more. There’s also a community garden within the grounds, where our families enjoy coming together to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
At ISP, we’ve been working with children and young people with complex needs for over 30 years and have developed an all-encompassing range of services and expertise to help foster parents support these children and make extraordinary progress in care.
As well as an unrivalled support package, you’ll receive a generous fostering allowance – between £440 and £580 per week, depending on your level of experience and training – plus additional allowances and rewards, so you can dedicate your time and energy into the children in your care.
