Kindercare Fostering NI is a not for profit independent fostering agency that provides specialist fostering services to all five Health and Social Care Trusts throughout Northern Ireland. We seek to provide a safe and caring environment in which vulnerable children and young people can live happily and grow to their full potential. We work with over 70 foster carers and over 95 children. We work in partnership with local Trusts to find the right caring solutions for children and young people – many of whom are difficult to place. Our service includes short or long term fostering, bridging and respite care, parent and baby placements, sibling group placements and emergency placements. We have built a reputation on being a small team with a family ethos. As we expands, we are committed to maintaining this. One of the ways we do so is by ensuring that each member of the team knows all of our foster carers and their families very well. In this way, if foster carers need support, they can always talk to someone who knows them and their family. The NI Team recruits foster carers in Northern Ireland to place children throughout the province, but can also accept referrals from, or place, children in other parts of the UK and Ireland. Our aim is to provide the highest quality care to our children and support to our foster carers, by providing a professional, supportive and engaged service. We are committed to going above and beyond to ensure that we are so much more than just a fostering agency! It is also important to recruit people with the same vision and values as us. Each member of our team is passionate about what they do and is dedicated to following things through to a successful conclusion, even outside normal working hours. Ensuring that they do what is in the children’s best interest is paramount and our staff are committed to working as a team to get the best outcomes.
