Park Foster Care is a medium-sized independent fostering agency, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted under the new framework. Our sole aim is to provide warm, safe, nurturing placements for children who cannot live with their families. We currently have 58 fostering families and 85 foster children in placement and we work with over 70 local authorities across Central England. Our foster families live in the North West, West Midlands and East Midlands areas and we support them to look after children from the ages of 0- 18yrs on a short term, long term, respite and emergency basis we also support parent & child provision. We are currently recruiting new and existing carers to meet the increasing demand for foster homes for children in care. Park Foster Care was founded by two experienced social workers in 2004. Their aim was to set up a small, family agency where the children were at the centre of all policies and decision-making, which continues to this day.   With this ethos, the agency quickly grew and to further support, develop and invest in our carer’s development it was in 2010 that Caretech Community Services purchased Park. Park Foster Care has a very experienced and established team of long serving staff – a Head of Service, Registered Manager, Team Managers (West Midlands/ North West), Learning & Development Manager,  Recruitment & Placement Manager, Placement Coordinator, Senior Social Workers, Assessment Co-ordinator,  five permanent Supervising Social Workers, a pool of assessing social workers, Family Support Worker,  sessional Psychologist. There is also a dedicated Administrative Team of four permanent workers who, along with the rest of the team, support our foster carers and the children they care for. The agency specialises in providing Therapeutic based placements where foster carers receive high levels of support, quality training and regular supervision. Over the years our Learning & Development Manager has created and refined the Park Parenting Approach (PPA), overseen by Kings College, where the outcomes for children and young people are positive; making a real difference to their lives.
